We are a group of home educating families who join together to provide a wide range of learning activities for the children - including Art, Sports, Drama, Topic based work, Field Trips, English, Maths, Science, and various GCSE's (we are a registered exam centre). The children are currently between 12 and 16 and work in small groups depending on their age and interests. Some classes are led by skilled parent volunteers; others are taught by professional tutors, tuition fees being shared between participating families. There is also a membership fee to cover rent, materials etc.
This small, friendly, relaxed group runs every weekday in central Canterbury. Attendance can be full time or part time.
The group is open to any child who wants to learn with like-minded young people and truly student-centred teachers. |
