EduRouter Created by people who have worked with home educators since 2009 and led the first proposal to build the Internet based free school for home educators. EduRouter is a platform for live online courses. Home educating families were a big part of the inspiration for creating the platform. The courses are driven by parents and learners. The website helps you take charge of your child’s education by customising programmes to suit their needs. From full-length qualifications leading to examinations (iGCSE, A-levels) to crash courses and one-off consultation sessions. Why group courses? Studying in a small group of like-minded people is a very effective way to learn. Group courses are also very affordable as the price drops with new students joining the course.
The idea is simple. If you have a specific requirement in mind, all there is to do is to request a course, accept one of the offers and reach out to other families with similar needs through networks in order to get the course enrolled sooner. Courses will also be advertised on EduRouter for other students to join. The class size is limited to 12 students. If you wish a specific class size or want to restrict class participation to an already existing group of students, just add this to your request.
Full school online solutions may be limiting in that they offer 9am to 2pm schedule and a set number of courses. On EduRouter you pick your subjects, tutor, your programme content, your schedule.
We also go beyond curriculum based programmes and have specialists who can help with a range of other skills such as job interview skills, scientific writing, exam entrance and more.
